Then she snapped her fingers. ” The other fairies stared at her. ” asked Marigold. “Just leave that to me,” said Poppy. ” Holly looked at her sisters. ” “Sure,” said Heather. ” Hyacinth exclaimed. Poppy sighed. “All right. ” The triplets nodded. “Let’s post a guard outside the office while we search,” said Rose. ” 28 “Bink will do it,” said Daisy. Bink was a type of fairy called a brownie. He served the fairies their meals and took care of the three winged ponies in the stable behind the cottage.
Finally she said, “All right. If Lily’s not back by tomorrow morning, you can go then. ” Poppy’s heart sank. She’d rather go with Daisy than Rose! But if she made a fuss, Mistress Petunia might decide that nobody could go. “Fly straight to the hotel,” said Mistress Petunia. “No stopping along the way. And I don’t want you flying after dark. ” “All right,” Poppy and Rose agreed. “By the way,” said Mistress Petunia, “how did you know that Mistress Lily was staying at the Primrose Hotel? ” Rose asked innocently.

Why didn’t she see them? Poppy wondered. Then she saw the look of concentration on Violet’s face. She had cast an invisibility spell over the whole group. Though they could still see one another, Mistress Petunia couldn’t see them!
